Easter has arrived and we can’t move for chocolate eggs! We won’t apologise for the puntastic newsletter this week, the opportunity comes around only once a year. Please note that there will be NO MARKET on Friday as it’s Good Friday but don’t despair – SCOFF at Portishead will have a long weekend of double traders for market fans who fancy getting out of the city and down by the marina. We’ll be open Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday so why not make a day of it and some visit our traders at Portishead?Wednesday’s market is choc-full of traders for those looking for egg-cellent options for lunch that cater for both grown-ups and families. Gourmet Warriors are solving mealtime woes this week with a big portion of birra tacos. For the uninitiated, a birra taco is stuffed with your choice of flavourful filling, then finished on the grill, making these tacos completely different to what you might be used to. FRIDAY 7TH APRIL – Good Friday
11AM – 3PMFriday is all about fish and fancy cakes! King Fin will be rocking up with the best, sustainable fish wraps, soft shell crab burgers and more, perfect food to be enjoyed by the water. Then indulge your sweet tooth with an Easter special from the brilliant Mother Fudger! She’s stuffing chocolate eggs with delicious sweet fillings as well as bringing her stuffed cookies, brownies and blondies. Make sure you stock up for the whole weekend and get there early!
SATURDAY 8TH APRIL – Easter Saturday

Saturday sees the return of The Roti Shack and their selection of homemade curries and Malaysian flatbreads. Choose from a Roti Canai, perfect for dipping or a stuffed Murtabak and remember to bring a wet wipe!
For pudding, The Kitchen Chef will have a selection of beautiful patisserie and macarons with an Easter theme. Keep an eye out for their salted caramel brownie and baked cheesecakes – delicious!
SUNDAY 9TH APRIL – Easter Sunday

Don’t fancy slaving away cooking that lamb this Sunday? Then get your shoes on and head over to Gurt Wings for all the fried chicken and sides you can eat! Totally customisable, these are a crowd-pleasing option for the whole family!
